OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS SATISFIED WITH MOSCOW CONSULTATIONS AND THEIR OWN ACTIVITY
Baku, august 2,(AzerTAj)OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs participating in the talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh problem settlement are satisfied with the consultations between Heads of Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Statements and mood of Mammadyarov and Nalbandyan show that Minsk Group acts normally and “all we do satisfies ministers of the two countriesâ€, US co-chair Matthew Bryza told journalists. According to him, he cannot say if there is a progress in negotiations but the sides constructively treat each other, and it is agreat achievement.
French co-chair Bernard Fassier added that the compromise in favor of both sides andpeoples, peace in the region is possible on the basis of Madrid proposals.
Russian co-chair Yuriy Merzlakov, for his part, stated that leadership of both countries hail their activity. “It has been the third meeting of ministers for the past three months, the meeting of presidents, trip of co-chairs to the region tookplace,†he stressed.
