Russia to finance development of new nuclear energy technologies
DIVEYEVO, the Nizhny Novgorod region, August 2 (Itar-Tass) - The
Russian government will allocate 127 billion rouble for the development of new nuclear energy technologies by 2015.
Sergei Kiriyenko, the head of the Rosatom corporation, told reporters
on Friday that the Russian government was to approve a program for
developing nuclear energy technologies of a new generation in November
this year. He said the financing would start in 2010.
