Unidentified gunmen carry out attacks in Ingushetia

NAZRAN, Republic of Ingushetia, August 3 (Itar-Tass) - One serviceman died and four were wounded in a shootout in the Republic of Ingushetia, the Northern Caucasus late on Saturday. The fighting broke out at around 22:50 Moscow time, a source at the Ingush prosecutor's office told Itar-Tass.

The attack was carried out by unidentified gunmen on the Kavkaz
federal highway near the Troitskaya populated locality in the republic's Sunzhensky district.

Unidentified gunmen opened fire at a car carrying the servicemen of a Russian interior troops regiment located in the Ingush city of Nazran at around 22:50 Moscow time on Saturday. According to preliminary reports of Ingushetia's Interior Ministry, five servicemen were wounded and rushed to hospital.

anti-organized crime department, Yunus Khantygov, came under fire in
Nazran on Saturday evening. Khantygov was not hurt but doctor Maret
Kushatova who was in the car together with Khantygov was seriously
wounded. She is now in hospital in critical condition.
