KRASNOYARSK, EASTERN SIBERIA, August 3 (Itar-Tass) - A Tu-204 plane made an emergency landing at Krasnoyarsk's Yemelyanovo airport early on Sunday. The plane was on its way from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok, the Russian Far East.
None of the 140 passengers and eight crew members were hurt, a source at the regional Siberian centre of the Russian Emergencies Ministry told Itar-Tass.
"The plane which belongs to the Vladivostokavia air company developed a problem while flying over the Turukhansk populated area. Its right engine broke, and the captain decided to make an emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk. The plane landed safely at 06:34 local time (02:34 Moscow time)," an airport duty officer said.
