Sharjah Charity Association sends relief supplies to Sri Lanka

Sharjah, Aug 3, 2008 (WAM) - A relief team from the Sharjah Charity
Association has headed for Sri Lanka to carry our relief operations in the wake of the recent floods in the island nation.

The floods caused by the tropical monsoon have swept many villages overlooking the backwaters. The relief team will coordinate with the local humanitarian organisations to carry out relief operations. Sharjah Charity Association has sent several relief missions into various parts of the world at times of natural disasters.
