UAE's ambassador to China visit the country's Olympic team

Beijing - AUGUST 3, 2008 (WAM) - UAE ambassador to China Mohammed Rashid Al Bot called on the country's Olympic team members and officials yesterday in Beijing. The UAE team taking part in the shooting is accompanied by the patron of the event Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Ambassador Al-Bot and the Olympic Attaché’ at the embassy Abdullah Mohammed Al Nuaimi called on Sheikh Saeed and wished the national team success.

The UAE team in Beijing Olympics is the country's largest ever representation, with eight contenders. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Hasher Al Maktoum is defending his title in the double trap shooting competition. The UAE team will join in Beijing10, 000 athletes from across the world.
