ETIHAD SET TO INTRODUCE ALL-ECONOMY SERVICES

DUBAI, Oct 29 (Bernama) -- Etihad Airways will start flying its first
"all-economy" class aircraft this Sunday.

The Abu Dhabi-based airline will mount such service to Alexandria, Colombo,
Damascus, Thiruvananthapuram, Calicut and Peshawar.

The Airbus A320 will be configured to carry 162 economy class passengers,
an increase of 42 from the current capacity, according to an Etihad statement.

"Customers travelling on the new all-economy aircraft will receive the same
world-class service and product," said Hareb Mubarak Al Muhairi, Etihad's
vice-president for sales in the United Arab Emirates.

They include seat-back in-flight entertainment screens, hot and cold meals
and beverages, as well as a 32-inch seat pitch.
