Laos and Vietnam discuss co-operation on Information and Culture
(KPL) A meeting to further the co-operation on information and culture between Laos and Vietnam was held in Vientiane on 31 July under the chairmanship of Mr. Mounkeo Oraboun, Minister of Information and Culture.
The one day function was attended by high-ranking officials from the two countries.
During the meeting a number of achievements of the Lao ministry
of information and culture made during the past 10 years was disseminated at the meeting.
The meeting was a part of activities reflecting to the
achievements of the co-operation between the two countries in the
information and culture fields. The meeting also discussed the ways to
further co-operation in the future.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Mounkeo urged officials to improve their
abilities in response to the new demands on information and culture arising
from global advances.
