AZERBAIJANI EDUCATION MINISTER MEETS REPRESENTATIVES OF KOREAN ICT COMPANIES
Baku, 05 AUGUST,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s Education Minister Misir Mardanov met Monday with representatives of information and communication technology (ICT) companies of the Republic of Korea.
The purpose of the meeting was to contribute to ICT-related work in Azerbaijan, apply ICTs in education system and also to discuss prospects of cooperation.
Misir Mardanov said all schools in Baku and Sumgayit will be provided with internet access under the State Program on informatization of Education System in Azerbaijan for 2008-2012.
The Minister also briefed on work done to realize the “Electronic school†project and computerize secondary schools in the country.
President of the “Korea Digital Technology†Company informed the participants of the ICT-related projects being implemented in his country. He expressed his willingness to contribute to the ICT sector`s development in Azerbaijan
