AJA MALAYSIA PLANS TO EXPAND SERVICES TO CHINA & INDIA
By Premalatha Jayaraman
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 9 (Bernama) -- AJA EQS Certification (M) Sdn Bhd (AJA Malaysia) plans to expand its services to China and India as companies there are keen to have good management systems, said chief executive officer Jacqueline Francis.
AJA Malaysia is the first and only homegrown international certification
body in Malaysia, which was established in 1999.
"The demand is high in China and India as companies are expecting to have
good management systems in order to remain competitive and sustainable," she
told Bernama Thursday.
Jacqueline said the company plans to add two more marketing offices in
Beijing and Shanghai next year.
Currently, it has operations in Shenzen, China, she said.
In India, the company has plans to add two more offices in Mumbai and New
Delhi.
Currently, she said, there are two offices in India, one in Kerala and the
other in Chennai.
Jacqueline said AJA Malaysia also plans to expand its services to Jordan and
South Africa in the first quarter of next year.
She said the company will invest about RM500,000 (US$1=RM3.14) to establish
offices and hire people.
At present, the company's international operations cover Brunei, India,
Dubai, Hong Kong and China, with its clientele ranging from small and medium
enterprises (SMEs) to large organisations and the government sector.
AJA Malaysia offers training and certification services for international
standards both in domestic and international market, she said, adding that it
has assisted and certified organisations in achieving first in the world status
for international standards.
To date, she said, the company has certified more than 800 clients and have
trained more than 5,000 clients in various industries and standards worldwide.
Stressing on the importance of certification for companies, Jacqueline said
it was vital for companies to obtain certification to get recognition and have
good management systems.
"It is important for companies to go for it (certification). Besides getting
recognised, it will also be competitive in the global market. Management must be
intact in order to remain competitive," she said.
She said AJA Malaysia also conducted quality clinics every Saturday to
advise, guide or answer questions pertaining to accreditation marks, management
system certification and trainings.
This will help increase awareness on the recognition and benefits of
implementing management systems in any organisation.
