MORE ENTRY POINT PROJECTS REVEALED IN JANUARY - MUSTAPA
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 (Bernama) -- More entry point projects (EPPs) are
expected to be disclosed in the second week of January 2011, International Trade
and Industry Minister Mustapa Mohamed said Monday.
"Prime Minister Najib Razak will make the announcement in January.
"Before this, the prime minister said there wouldn't be any in December. So,
putting December and January together, logically the number will be more," he
said after launching an outreach programme involving university lecturers here.
The prime minister had announced 18 EPPs in October and November.
A total of 131 EPPs have been planned to turn Malaysia into a high-income
nation with over three million new job opportunities by 2020.
On the outreach programe, Mustapa said the objective was to disseminate
information on the Economic Transformation Programme and the Government
Transformation Programme and also the ministry's functions to university
students and lecturers.
