BORNEO JAZZ 2011 PROMOTIONAL TICKETS AVAILABLE ONLINE

KUCHING (Malaysia), Dec 24 (Bernama) -- Promotional tickets for the Borneo
Jazz 2011 in Miri are now available online at www.ticketcharge.com.my.

The Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), in a statement, said the 800 tickets each
for the "3-day Borneo Jazz Extravaganza" (offered at RM200 (US$1=RM3.13) and
"2-day Borneo Jazz Weekender" (offered at RM60) are available online until Jan
15 next year.

The 200 daily passes are offered at RM35 per pass per day online at the
discounted price up to Jan 15.

"These offers will be a great opportunity, especially for those who plan to
have their jazz weekend in Miri City and, at the same time, explore Sarawak's
natural wonders," it said.

Jazz Borneo, organised by STB Leisure and Properties, will feature
performances from countries that range from gypsy jazz to traditional jazz at
the Parkcity Everly Hotel in Miri from May 12 to 15.


Grammy nominee Maria Muldaur of the United States will be the headline act
on the Borneo Jazz stage next year.

Sharing the same stage will be Cunha & Piper from Brazil, Les Doigts De
L'Homme from France, SIU2 from Hong Kong, State of Monc from Holland, Miri-born
Victor Yong and the Electric Carnival from Malaysia/Canada and Yuichiro Tokuda's
RALYZZ DIG from Japan.
