MALAYSIAN WIN DO US PROUD, SAYS PM NAJIB
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 27 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's win in the first leg of the
final of the AFF-Suzuki Cup is something to be proud of and shows that the
national squad is improving, Najib Tun Razak said Sunday night.
"I'm truly delighted with the victory. The team gave a good performance
tonight and the whole nation is proud of our team," the Prime Minister said in a
statement to Bernama.
Najib however reminded the team not to be complacent as they still have the
return match to play.
"They need another good performance in Indonesia," he said.
