PUTRAJAYA, Jan 13 (Bernama) -- An Iranian national complained of severe
abdominal pain upon flying into Kuala Lumpur Wednesday and was sent to hospital
where surgeons removed 765 grammes of syabu in capsules from his stomach.
Putrajaya police chief ACP Abdul Razak Abdul Majid said the 52-year-old man
fell ill at the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) and was sent to the Islamic
Medical Centre (Pusrawi) at KL International Airport.
However, Pusrawi sent him to the Putrajaya Hospital at 7pm, he said.
"Surgeons removed 137 compressed slabs in the form of capsules, all weighing
765 grammes, from his stomach. The value of the drugs has yet to be determined,"
he said when contacted by Bernama Thursday.
He also said police had yet to obtain information on the man's destination
