UAE pavilion at Zaragoza 2008 continue to enthral visitors

Zaragoza - The UAE pavilion at Zaragoza International Exhibition on 'Water and Sustainable Development' continued to cool the hearts of visitors in the peak of summer.

The pavilion, which has attracted over 600,000 visitors from
Spain and abroad since it was opened earlier in mid-June, has been acclaimed
as one of the most innovative one at the international event.

There are frequent media visits at the pavilion, which emotionally portrays
the relationship between mankind and water. The theme of the exhibition
itself is water and development without depleting the nature and
environment.

Dubai satellite TV telecast a special programme on Monday evening, shedding
light on the unique pavilion. The news hour aired interviews with a number
of visitors, all of whom lauded UAE for its efforts for preserving water and
protecting environment. The pavilion houses a cinema hall for screening
movies specially produced by the National Media Council (NMC) depicting the
development of UAE over the years. The films narrate the story of three
generations who witnessed the birth and progress of UAE since it was founded
by the Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. - WAM
