MALAYSIAN PM NAJIB ENQUIRES ABOUT KING ABDULLAH'S HEALTH VIA PHONE CALL

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 15 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun
Razak's telephone call to King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia to
enquire about the latter's health was widely reported in the Saudi media
Saturday.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Najib was reassured of the health
of 86-year-old King Abdullah, who is also known as the "Custodian of the Two
Holy Mosques."

The monarch, who is now recuperating in New York after two successful
operations on his back, also thanked Najib for the telephone call.

The SPA reported that during the telephone conversation, both Najib and King
Abdullah reviewed bilateral relations and the overall situation in the Islamic
world and international arenas.
