MALAYSIAN DPM TO ATTEND SEAMEO CONFERENCE IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jan 25 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister
Muhyiddin Yassin will make a two-day official visit to Brunei Darussalam
starting Tuesday in conjunction with the 46th Southeast Asian Ministers of
Education Organisation (SEAMEO) Council Conference (SEAMEC) and 6th Asean
Education Ministers Meeting (ASED).
According to the itinerary, made available to Malaysian journalists covering
the visit, Muhyiddin, who is also Education Minister, is scheduled to arrive
here at 10.45am Tuesday.
In the afternoon, he is scheduled to have an audience with the Sultan of
Brunei Darussalam, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, at Nurul Iman Palace, and then visit
Sekolah Vokasional Nakhoda Ragam.
He is also scheduled to attend a dinner at the Malaysian High Commission.
The following day, Muhyiddin is scheduled to deliver a keynote address
at the 5th roundtable meeting of Asean Educational Leaders and 3rd conference of
South East Asian School Principals Forum at a hotel here before returning to
Kuala Lumpur in the evening.
