Benalec announces acquisition of two vessels
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 27 (Bernama)-Benalec Holdings Bhd has announced that its two related companies, Pacific Shipping Ltd (PSL) and Pacific Link Ltd (PLL), have entered into Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) with Middlesbrough
Shipping and Investment Limited and Bolton Shipping and Investment Limited respectively, for the acquisition of two vessels for US$6,800,000 cash.
PSL and PLL are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Benalec Sdn Bhd, which in turn, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Benalec.
In its filing to Bursa, Benalec said the acquisitions are to facilitate the expansion of the Benalec Group’s fleet of vessels, in particular those for the transport of sand for land reclamation activities.
