TRACECA TRANSPORT CORRIDOR BRINGS IN OVER AZN 130M
Baku, 14 AUGUST,(AzerTAj)Transportation via the Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) international transport corridor has brought in 130.8 million manats in the first half of 2008, according to the State Stats Committee.
Cargo traffic made up 24.3 million, up by 2.3 on the same period last year.
Passenger traffic constituted 96.7 million people, up by 5.3% over the 2007 figure.
Railway transport accounted for 54.7% of the transportation, motor transport 31.3%,and sea transport 14%.
Goods in transit made up 5.8 million tons in Azerbaijan.
Railway transport registered a growth of 10%, sea transport 16.9%, motor transport10.3%.
