LANGKAWI NAVAL BASE LAUNCHES TIME CAPSULE

LANGKAWI (Malaysia), Feb 2 (Bernama) -- The Langkawi Royal Malaysian Navy
(RMN) Base Tuesday launched a time capsule containing the base's blueprint and
the 2011 message of the RMN chief.

Langkawi RMN Media Relations Staff Officer Lt Rasidi Ramli said the first
bulletin of the Naval District Headquarters 3 (Mawilla 3) launched Tuesday was
also inside in the capsule.

"The capsule, which also contains Mawilla 3 historic photographs and KD
Sultan Badlishah credentials, will only be opened on Oct 1, 2057," he told
reporters here.

Both the capsule and the bulletin were launched by Mawilla 3 chief, First
Admiral Abdul Rahman Abdul Karim.

Mawilla 3 also created history today when it was awarded with the MS ISO
9001:2008 certification.
