Malaysian students in Egypt to arrive on monday

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- Some 400 Malaysian students in Egypt are expected to arrive home on Monday from Jeddah on a Malaysian Airline System (MAS) flight.
Political secretary to the prime minister Shahlan Ismail said the
maiden flight which was delayed due to a technical problem was expected to arrive at 9am.
He said the students would be brought home by MAS and not the Royal Malaysian Navy as planned earlier.
"We have already secured the services of MAS which will provide bigger aircraft to accommodate the large number of students," he told Bernama when contacted Saturday.
Shahlan said some 4,914 students had been evacuated from Cairo to Jeddah.
Eight aircraft - two MAS, three RMAF C130 and three AirAsia are being deployed to evacuate the students Saturday.
