Human Rights Commission demands quick review of female detainees' cases

Baghdad (NINA)Feb. 6 - Human Rights Commission, a civil society, demanded the quick review of cases of female prisoners and detainees in prisons and detentions and to send their cases to the judicial institutions.
In a statement, Hamdiya Jabur, deputy chairman of the commission, said "at the time we need to support the Iraqi woman to cope with life and live peacefully and safely; Iraqi woman needs cooperation to get the unjust off of her so that she can turn into an active member in the society."
"Therefore, we demand sending the female detainees cases to courts to get the proper sentences and release the innocent.
