Esawi, US Ambassador discuss political, economic situations
Baghdad (NINA) –Iraqi Finance Minister, Rafi al-Esawi, discussed the political and economic situations with the US Ambassador in Baghdad, James Jeffrey, on Monday.
A statement by Esawi’s office cited “Both sides discussed the general financial budget and the reason behind the delay in its endorsement as well as the hurdles that hinder the nomination of the security ministers.”
“Both sides emphasized the necessity of speeding up settling these important issues,” the statement concluded.
