Malaysıa's E-Lock Gains Foothold In Japan

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) - Security solution provider e-Lock
Corporation Sdn Bhd has signed an agreement with SoftBank BB Corp to expand its software business in Japan.

Under the agreement, SoftBank becomes e-Lock's distributor to sell Lock's WebALARM security solution via its distribution networks of resellers and system integrators nationwide.

e-Lock Chief Executive Officer Dr Ken Leong said SoftBank BB's extensive sales and marketing channels would greatly boost the adoption of WebALARM among the large corporations and small and medium enterprises in Japan.
"We have been working hard to develop and fine-tuning this product to suit Japanese market requirements.

"We are proud to be the first Malaysian company to have gained a foothold in Japan in this business," he said in a statement Tuesday.

e-Lock's WebALARM is an advanced data monitoring and recovery system for round-the-clock monitoring of critical information, digital contents and system configurations.

The solution is ideal for web content monitoring, corporate information protection and information security audit.

WebALARM has already established a proven track record in Japan over the past ten years with prominent Japanese corporations as loyal customers.
