Sports Medicine and Sports Science Conference In September
KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) - The National Sports Institute of Malaysia (ISN) is to organise its fifth ISN Sports Medicine and Sports Science Conference from Sept 27 to 30.
The conference, carrying the theme "Medicine, Science and Technology:
Powering High Performance Sport", will be held at the Dewan Perdana of the ISN in Bukit Jalil.
ISN said in a statement Tuesday the conference would feature local and
international speakers who would share their knowledge and experience.
"The conference will allow participants to get an insight on the latest research studies and identify directions for future scientific studies.
"A number of practical workshops are planned on Sept 27 followed by invited speakers and submitted 'free presentations' on Sept 28 to 30," said the statement.
ISN said the conference also aimed to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of national and international "best practices" in sports science, sports medicine and sports technology.
"We encourage all researchers, academics, sports scientists, sports medicine practitioners, sports technologists and students who wish to present their work to submit abstracts for presentation at the conference," said the statement.
