Minister of Energy and Industry Honours Al-Attiyah
Doha, February 12 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada held a ceremony today in honor of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emiri Protocol Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah in recognition of the efforts he made during his 19-year- term of office as Minister of Energy and Industry in the areas of oil and gas sector and petrochemicals.
At the outset of the ceremony, which was held in the / Katara / Hall in the cultural district, HE Dr. Al-Sada gave a speech in which he welcomed the Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emiri Protocol thanking him for accepting the invitation to the ceremony, held in recognition of his efforts during the period in which served as Minister of Energy and Industry .
He also stressed that the sincere effort of HE Mr. Al-Attiyah during his term of office in the areas of oil, gas and petrochemicals won the confidence of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Than. He said Al-Attiya's efforts were also recognized by the corporation and companies which he presided over their boards, such as Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Gas and Qatar Petroleum International.
For his part, HE Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah thanked Dr. Al-Sada for the ceremony held in his honor wishing HE the Minister of Energy and Industry success in his new mission. He also wished the sectors of energy, gas and petrochemicals in the country's further development and growth Under the wise leadership of HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent.
At the end of the ceremony, HE Dr.Al-Sada presented HE Al-Attiyah with a souvenir gift .
The ceremony was attended by senior officials and managers of departments and projects, experts and advisors from Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Gas, Qatar Petroleum International and RasGas.
