Qatar Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Al Mahmoud Meets Sudanese Government Delegation to Darfur Peace Talks
Doha (QNA) - HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met here today with the Sudanese Minister of State for Presidential Affairs and the Head of the Sudanese delegation to Darfur peace talks Dr. Amin Hassan Omar and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting centered on the final stages of the Darfur peace process as well as the mediation plan to complete it in order to reach the aspired peace document.
Dr. Amin meanwhile reiterated his government's commitment to Doha platform and the continuation of consultations with the mediation and the parties in order to reach a just, comprehensive and lasting solution to the conflict in Darfur, adding that is what the return of the government delegation to the consultations meant.
