Qatar Municipal Affairs Minister Receives Invitation to Attend GCC Municipal Work Conference
Doha (QNA) - HE Minister of Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani has received an invitation to participate in the Sixth Conference of the GCC municipal work which will be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, from 12 to 15 March.
This came during a meeting between HE the Minister of Municipal Affairs today with a delegation of the Conference's organizing committee, led by Mohammad Suleiman al Amr, the General Coordinator of the Conference.
The conference aims to explore the future of municipal joint action in the GCC states.
The conference will cover three main areas including urban planning in light of global changes, climatic changes and their effects on urban development, and environmental issues in the GCC cities.(QNA)
