Tun Razak Leadership Programme A Platform For Unity

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) - Malaysia's Tun Razak Leadership Programme
(PKTR) aims to become a platform to foster unity and eliminate racial prejudice
in the country, said Tun Razak Foundation chairman Mohamad Hanif Omar.

He said through this programme, the foundation hopes to train new talents in
preparing a new line of leaders who are able to continue the work of the current
leadership.

“The programme will also help introduce and appreciate the contributions and
sacrifices made by Tun Abdul Razak, Malaysia's Father of Development,” he told
Bernama after launching the 18th PKTR, here Monday.

A total of 69 participants are taking part in the two-week programme held in
Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi island in the northern state of Kedah.

Mohamad Hanif said participants also have the chance to directly interact
with successful individuals including young professionals and chief executive
officers of corporate bodies.

He said their experience can be used as a guideline on how to plan for and
create success in the future.
