HH Sheikh Moza Chairs ADF's Board of Trustees' Meeting
Doha (QNA)- Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser chaired the 4th annual Arab Democracy Foundation s (ADF) Board of Trustees meeting held at Ritz Carlton hotel here Monday morning.
At the outset of the meeting, ADF's Secretary-General, Mohsen Marzouk, presented a detailed report about ADF's 2009-2010 programs.
The discussions dealt with ADF's priorities with regards to the recent developments in the region as well as the proposed programs for the upcoming three years and their budgets.
Earlier , HH Sheikh Moza toured the exhibition organized on the sidelines of the meeting. The exhibition highlighted some of these programs which included seminars on discrimination against women in the Arab world as well as on visions and solutions for Darfur.
The ADF was established in 2007 and aims at supporting and developing democracy in the arab region in cooperation with the regional and international organisations , national institutions and civil societies working in the field.
