CROATION EMBASSY'S MINISTER COUNSELLOR CALLS ON MALAYSIAN MINISTER

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 22 (Bernama) -- Malaysia and Crotia will continue to
enhance cultural exchange between both countries and hope the cooperation
will extend to other sectors such as trade and economy.

The Croation embassy's Minister Counsellor Tatjana Carev-Maruna said this to
reporters after paying a courtesy call on Information Communication and Culture
Minister Dr Rais Yatim at his office, here, Tuesday.

She said Rais told her that an agreement on cultural exchange between
Malaysia and Croatia would be established to further enhance relations between
the two countries.

"Apart from culture exchange, I hope Crotia and Malaysia will cooperate in
other sectors like trade and economy, including the electronic and wood
industries, tourism and also the halal food industry," she said.

Carev-Maruna will be leaving for home in two days' time after ending her
four-year post as minister counsellor at the embassy here.
