Wasat Alliance calls parliament to hold urgent session to discuss demonstrators’ demands
Baghdad (NINA) –The Wasat Alliance, which involves the Iraqi Islamic Party and the Iraq’s Unity Alliance, called the parliament Chairmanship to hold an urgent session to discuss the demonstrators’ demands.
The Spokesman of the Alliance, Salim Abdullah al-Jubouri, stated to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) on Saturday “The parliament and the government should respond to the demonstrators’ legitimate demands during an urgent session.”
“Neglecting these demands will complicate the crisis,” he assured, stressing that “The sides participating in the political process should consider the ways of finding the means to settle the crisis of the services as well as other issues.” /End/
