Kim Jong Il Enjoys Art Performance

Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, enjoyed an art performance given by the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Korean People's Internal Security Forces at the renovated Ponghwa Art Theatre.
Its colorful performance included "Glory to the Respected Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il", "Old Home Covered with Snow", "We Will Hold Our General in High Esteem", and "Footstep."
The artistes powerfully demonstrated the might of the internal security forces which have reliably protected the gains of the socialist homeland and people's security, glorifying the more than six decade-long tradition of devotedly defending the leader.
They, at the same time, successfully represented the firm faith and will of the servicepersons of the internal security forces to defend the Korean-style socialist system centered on the popular masses as firm as a rock.
Kim Jong Il expressed great satisfaction over the splendid performance given by them and extended high appreciation and thanks to them.
