Qatari-Spanish Official Talks Kick off

Doha, February 28 (QNA) - A round of official talks kicked off at the Emiri Diwan premises here on Monday between the State of Qatar led by HE Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani and the Kingdom of Spain led by Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero.
The two sides reviewed ties of joint cooperation and means of enhancing them in several domains . A set of other regional and international issues of mutual concern was also taken up.
Following the talks, HE the Prime Ministe and Foreign Minister and the Spanish Prime Minister witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Qatar Diar Real Estate Investment Company and the Kingdom of Spain concerning investment in infrastructure and transport.
The MOU was signed by the Executive Chief of Diar Group Mohamed Ali Al-Hedfa while it was signed on the Spanish side by the Spanish ambassador to Qatar HE Juan Jose Santos-Aguado.
Then HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister hosted a luncheon in honour of the Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero and his accompanying delegation.(QNA(
