Ministry of Interior Officers Take Course to Boost Job Skills
Doha, February 28 (QNA) - Twenty-four officers from various departments of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) are currently attending an advance course here to enhance their job skills.
Conducted by the Centre for Developing Leaders of the MoI in association with the British National Policing Improvement Agency (NPIA), the officers of the rank of captain will be attending the course up to March 17, the MoI said in a media statement issued here Monday.
The course will boost the officers' leadership skills, efficiency, security, administrative skills and empower them to deal with the dynamics of change in the future. It will also enable them to meet the requirements of MoI's strategy for the period 2011-2012.
The course covers key security concepts required for moulding future leaders. It will impart knowledge and develop their skills and decision-making.
The content of the course covers active personnel leadership, situational leadership, training & guidance, project management, crisis management, time management, change management and performance appraisal as well as lectures on Qatar vision 2030 and MoI strategy for 2011-2016. (QNA(
