Qatar to Participates in Arab Olympic committees Meeting
Doha, March 02 (QNA) - Delegation of Qatar National Olympic Committee, led by QNOC Secretary General HE Sheikh Saud Bin Abdurrahman Al Thani, will leave on Friday to Jeddah to attend the15th meeting of the General Assembly of General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), scheduled to be held there from March 4 to 6.
The meeting will discuss a number of issues tabled on its agenda and is also expected to nominate Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of Saudi Arabia's Olympic Committee who is also Deputy President of the Association of National Olympic Committees to succeed Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz as president of the Federation.
The delegation comprises Mohammad Youssuf Al-Mana, Member of QNOC's Executive Bureau and Chairman of Qatar Weight Lifting and Body Building Association, Mubarak Ali al-Nuaimi and Fahad Abdullah Al-Mulla.
The State of Qatar will host the next edition of the Pan-Arab Games late this year.
