Anti-Japanese Joint Statement Issued
Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- The Korean Social Democratic Party and the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea issued an anti-Japanese joint statement on March 1, the 92nd anniversary of the March First Popular Uprising.
The two parties bitterly condemned Japan for whitewashing its history of aggression and plunder, far from making apology and reparation for the indelible hideous unethical crimes it committed against the Korean nation. They also blamed Japan for seeking reinvasion of Korea and other Asian countries with the backing of the U.S., the statement said.
The two parties will resolutely reject the triangular military tie-ups among the U.S., Japan and south Korea and wage dynamic struggle to shatter the moves of the Japanese militarists for reinvasion, it noted, and went on:
The two parties will stage unflinching actions to check and frustrate the anachronistic moves of the sycophantic and treacherous forces to tighten the "alliance" with outside forces and cooperate with them.
The two parties will wage a more dynamic struggle to achieve the peace and reunification of the country.
