The Forum to be held from March 7-8, 2011 at the Grand Hyatt Doha. Qatar is hosting the two day forum for the second time, since 2008.
HE Dr Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, has recently extended his Patronage and will also give a Ministerial Address at the opening of the Forum on March 7 2011 . This will be followed by Keynote Addresses, to be presented by Mr Saad Al-Kuwari, CEO, Tasweeq and Mr Andy Brown, Executive Vice President, Managing Director Pearl GTL, Qatar Shell, respectively and Mr Keizo Torii of Marubeni Corporation with a recently added, special address by Mr Saeed Al-Marri, Head of Product Sales of Qatargas Operating Company Limited, a press release issued on Thursday said.
Many other condensate and natural gas liquid experts from Asia, the Gulf, North America and the EC, will also address the Forum, which is hosted under the auspices of Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Company Ltd (Tasweeq), Qatar's independent stated-owned petroleum marketing company.
A premier platform for producers, sellers and buyers of Condensate and Naphtha, the Forum will discuss key issues and challenges facing the future of the industry. With Qatar set to become the condensate capital of the world, Middle East condensate supply is set to double in volume by 2015. This condensate supply expansion over the next 5 years, is likely to result in new condensate splitting capacity being built. Asia Pacific naphtha demand is expected to pick up over the next 5 years. China 's consumption drive coupled with its planned ethylene plants, will bring Asia Pacific demand for naphtha to new heights.
The importance of the Forum for Qatar is underscored by the support and sponsorship for the conference by Qatar Petroleum, Tasweeq, Rasgas Company Limited, Qatargas Operating Company Ltd and ORYX GTL as key sponsors, in addition to making key presentations. Wide participation is also expected from these and other Qatar based companies, to take advantage of the presence of nearly 180 international participants expected.
Critical issues to be addressed at the conference include:

- Review of Existing and New Condensate Supply from the Middle East & other global locations
- Condensate Refining Issues
- Trends in the Global Naphtha Market and Demand/Supply Trends
- Outlook for Condensate Pricing and Opportunities in Pricing Volatilities
- LPG Demand, Supply & Pricing Scenarios
- Feedstocks feasibility for Petrochemical Producers
On the sidelines of the conference, Tasweeq will be sponsoring the Tasweeq Golf Challenge, a nine-hole Executive Golf Game on 6 March 2011 at the Doha Golf Club, for all participants of the Forum. Delegates will also be given the opportunity to go on a site visit to the Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) on the afternoon of 8 March 2011 , sponsored by Qatargas Operating Company Ltd. The RLIC is located about 80 kilometres from Qatar's North Field, which is the world's largest single non-associated gas field with approximately 900 trillion cubic feet of proven reserves. (QNA)
