Rodong Sinmun Blasts Japan-U.S. Joint Military Exercises
Pyongyang (KCNA) - Japan and the United States kicked off various joint military exercises at the outset of the year. These were exercises for a war of aggression from A to Z as they had nothing to do with "defense". Rodong Sinmun on March 5 says this in a bylined article.
More than half a century has passed since Japan drank a bitter cup of defeat in the Second World War, but no country has ever threatened Japan, the article says, and goes on:
Prompted by its scenario to use Japan as a shock brigade for carrying out its Asia-Pacific strategy, the U.S. is urging the former to modify its "pacifist constitution" and expand armaments while vociferating about the "threat" from someone.
Japan is putting spurs to the preparations for turning itself into a military power and staging a comeback to Korea while stepping up the arms race to keep pace with them.
It is part of their scenario to reorganize the Ground SDF in the same style as that of the U.S. Marines.
The U.S. Marines are watching for a chance to invade those countries which are causing their displeasure in different regions of the world. The attempt of the Ground SDF to model itself on the U.S. Marines is little short of an operation to launch overseas aggression just as they do.
Japan's evermore undisguised moves to turn itself into a military power and Japan-U.S. joint military exercises should never be overlooked.
