Rodong Sinmun Terms Key Resolve and Foal Eagle Provocation Harassing Dialogue and Peace

Pyongyang (KCNA) - South Korea kicked off the joint military exercises, Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, together with the U.S. This is a grave provocation spoiling the atmosphere of dialogue and north-south relations. Rodong Sinmun says this in a bylined article Monday.
The U.S. and south Korea are describing the saber-rattling as one for "preventing provocations" and "defending themselves" but it is a shameless sophism to conceal their true colors as aggressors, the article notes, and goes on:
Key Resolve and Foal Eagle are entirely aimed at invading the DPRK in light of their nature and contents.
The war maneuvers in south Korea will make it impossible to preserve peace on the Korean Peninsula and achieve its peaceful reunification. The historic lesson teaches that the war maneuvers against the other party will bring distrust, confrontation, increased tensions and military clashes, which will lead to a war disaster in the long run.
