Qatari Businessmen Meets Their Counterparts from Abu Dhabi

Doha, March 08 (QNA) - Qatari businessmen discussed here today with the visiting trade and industry delegation from Abu Dhabi the investment opportunities available in Qatar.
Director of exports and foreign trade support at the Abu Dhabi's Department of Economic Development Dr Adib Al-Afifi in a press statement said that the aim of the visit was to enable the private sector of both countries to establish an effective dialogue as well as discuss future investment opportunities.
He added that the delegation consists of twenty-eight businessmen representing industry and services sectors. It includes eight representatives from leading factories in Abu Dhabi, who are looking for possibility to establish investment, trade relations and to promote export with Qatar, he added.
Dr Afifi said that the State of Qatar is enjoying a unique period commercially and economically, especially after winning the rights to organize the 2022 World Cup, saying that the UAE is looking forward to contribute to the implementation of the infrastructure projects.
He praised the trade and economic relations between Qatar and United Arab Emirates, as Qatar is considered the main strategic partner of the UAE
