Qatari Investors Meets Saudi Land Transport Delegation
Doha, March 08 (QNA) - The Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) hosted today a meeting between Qatari businessmen and investors and members of the Saudi national commission for land transport.
The meeting aimed at opening new horizons for investors from both sides, and stressed the need for strong alliances to advance transport services in the two countries.
Chairman of the QCCI transport committee and board member Ali bin Abdul Latif Al Misnad briefed the delegation on the transport sector in Qatar and the available opportunities.
He said that Qatar has recently formed a committee to reorganize the transport sector. Al Misnad pointed to a number of strategic projects which are being implemented in the infrastructure and other areas, including projects related to rail roads, ports, airports, bridges, stadiums needed for the World Cup 2022 .
