HH the Emir Meets Dutch Queen

Doha, March 09 (QNA)- HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani met at the Emiri Diwan premises here on Wednesday Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Kingdom of Netherlands.
The meeting was attended by HH Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.
HE Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani , HE Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emiri Diwan Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah , a number of Their Excellencies the ministers and Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands also attended the meeting.
Attending on the Dutch side were HE the Heir Apparent to the throne of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Willem Alexander, the Prince of Orange and his Spouse M?xima Zorreguieta Cerruti and a numebr of Their Excellencies the members of the official delegation escorting Her Majesty Queen Beatrix .
Talks during meeting dealt with a set of issues of mutual interest.
At the end the meeting, HH the Emir conforred upon the Dutch Queen the Necklace of Independence and in turn HH the Emir has received the Grand Cross in the order of the Loin of the Netherlands from Her Majesty Queen Beatrix .
Then HH the Emir hosted a lunch banquet in honour of Her Majesty the Dutch Queen and the accompanying delegation.
Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Kingdom of Netherlands arrived at the Emiri Diwan premises ,minutes prior to the audience and was accorded a red-carpet reception ceremonies.
Queen Beatrix of the Kingdom of Netherlands arrived in Doha earlier Wednesday morning, on a three-day visit to Qatar.
