Ras Laffan and Rotterdam Ports Sign MoU
Doha, March 10 (QNA) - In the presence of HM Queen Beatrix of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, who is currently visiting Qatar, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Ras Laffan Port and Rotterdam Port Authority in the Netherlands, providing for cooperation and coordination between the two sides in the areas of their work. .
The memorandum was signed at Ras Laffan Industrial City by the City Affairs Director Abdul Aziz Jassim Muftah (for the Qatari side) and Director of the General Cargo at the Rotterdam Authority Roland Van Azci (for the Netherlands side).
The port of Rotterdam played a major role in making the Kingdom of the Netherlands high-level commercial country, especially after the end of World War II, which knew the beginning of a phase of reconstruction, and repair of what was destroyed by world wars I and II.
