Araji calls for excluding the judges from the salaries reduction

Baghdad (NINA) – Head of the Ahrar bloc, within the National Alliance, Bahaa Al Araji, called for excluding the judges from the salaries reduction law.

In a statement to NINA, Araji said “the law was read for the first time on Saturday, March 12, it included the reduction of the judges’ salaries. It is a violation of the law since the reduction is the parliament’s authority not the cabinet, which sent it.”

After the first reading of the law yesterday, the parliament had a preliminary majority voting on it. The law aims at reducing the three presidencies’ salaries to decrease the differences in salaries and achieve equality. /End/
