JMPs' armed groups attack on government complex in Marib

SANA'A, March 14 (Saba) - An official source at Interior Ministry has said that armed groups belonging to
the Joint Meeting Parties (JMPS) have attacked the governmental complex building in Marib province.
The source pointed that when Marib Governor Naji al-Zaidi tried to convince the demonstrators not to storm the compound, a group of them assaulted him and his escorts with
daggers, which led to the wounding of the governor in his neck and four of his companions.
There has been an exchange of fire, in which a number of citizens were injured, the source added.
In a statement to Saba, the source warned the JMPs and their leaderships of persisting in committing illegal acts against citizens and damaging public and private properties
and spreading violence and chaos.
The source hold the JMPs' leaderships responsible for what is happening in residential areas and streets neighboring the Sana'a University as well as the assaults on local
authorities and governmental complexes in provinces of Jawf and Marib.
