For more coordination, Yemen suggests delaying donor's meeting

SANA'A, = March 16 (Saba) - Yemen proposed on Wednesday postponing the upcoming = ministerial meeting of Yemen's
Friends Group in order to exert more coordination and preparation for = the meeting.
The proposal was made by Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi during his =
meeting with the ambassadors of EU, the U.S., Russia, China and the =
United Nations Development Programme
(UNDP) representative to Yemen.
According to the proposal, the sate of the meeting will be set later.
During the meeting, the officials discussed the latest developments in =
the local and regional arenas, affirming the importance of adopting =
dialogue as a practical and peaceful
mechanism to reach sustainable solutions in order to ensure stability of =
the country.
They further talked about several issues of common interests as well as =
aspects of joint cooperation for supporting efforts exerted by Yemen to =
face its current challenges.
The significance role of Yemen's Friends Group, and its obligation to =
prop up Yemen's efforts, was touched upon in the meeting.
