Qatar Aeronautical College Endorsed Asian Meteorological Training Centre

Geneva, March 17 (QNA) - Qatar Aeronautical College and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) today signed an agreement endorisng the College as a regional centre for training in Asia in the field of meteorology.
The agreement was signed here by a Qatari delegation comprising Ahmed Abdullah Mohamed, director of meteorology at the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Khaled Al-Fahd Al-Hajri, Acting Charge d'affaires of the Permanent Mission of Qatar to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, in the presence of Mr. Michel Jarraud, Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), and other representatives of the organization.
