Qatar Marine Festival Continues Activities
Doha, March 17 (QNA) - Qatar Marine Festival continued its activities for the second day in a row in the eastern facade of the Cultural Village (Katara)
The festival aims to recall and revive the traditions of the country and its marine heritage through sport events and recreational, cultural, social and educational activities to acquaint visitors with the rich maritime heritage of the Qatari people.
Activities associated with the Festival include the Dancing Fountain which is located near the beach. With a width of 80m, the Fountain presents charming water, light and music shows, in addition to the Carnival in which distinguished 16 vehicles decorated with images and ideas of marine life make two tours per day .
Among other colourful activities, Qatar Sailing and Rowing Federation will exhibit different types of rowing and sailing boats.(
