Yemen's participation in Yeosu EXPO 2012 in S. Korea discussed
SANA'A, March 19 (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Trade Hisham Sharaf discussed here on Saturday with South
Korean ambassador to Yemen Park Kyu-ock Yemen's participation in the Expo 2010 Yeosu Korea.
At the meeting, they discussed facilities could be provided by the Korean side to Yemen's participation in this world exhibition to show investment opportunities in Yemen.
They also touched on relations of cooperation between the two countries in economic, trade and investment areas and mechanisms to avail from the Korean experiences as well
as the technical support in training Yemeni cadres in different areas .
The two sides stressed the need to establish active communication between the private sector in the two countries and the importance of creating an institutional framework
to bring together businessmen from both sides to serve the common interests of both friendly countries.
The Korean ambassador voiced his country's readiness to cooperate with Yemen in all areas, confirming the support to the socioeconomic development in Yemen.
